Installation
Install LalKitaab and understand where it keeps your data.
LalKitaab ships as a single desktop installer. It does not need a server, a database to set up separately, or an account — once installed it is ready to use.
Install the application
- Download the installer for your platform from the Download page.
- Run it and follow the prompts. On Windows the rendering runtime is bundled, so the installer works on a machine that has never been online.
- Launch LalKitaab. It creates its database on first run and opens on the dashboard.
Where your data lives
Everything is stored in one folder on your computer, under your user account. The database file in it is the authoritative copy of your business data — it is not synchronised anywhere unless you set up a backup destination yourself.

Activation
A trial period runs from first launch. When you activate, the application can either contact the licensing server directly, or — if the computer has no internet at all — produce a request code that support exchanges for an unlock code. Both routes are on Settings → License, and both work at any time, not only once the trial has ended.
