Refund & Cancellation Policy
When you can get your money back, how to ask, and how long it takes.
Last updated 16 August 2026
LalKitaab has a free trial with every feature of the Offline plan switched on, so you can find out whether it suits your shop before paying anything. That shapes the policy below.
Cancelling
There is nothing to cancel in the usual sense: subscriptions do not renew automatically and we hold no payment mandate. If you do not want to continue, simply do not buy the next period. Your application keeps working until the period you paid for ends.
Refunds
- First purchase: if LalKitaab does not work for you, ask within 7 days of payment and we will refund it in full and deactivate the licence.
- Renewals: not refundable once the period has begun, since the trial and the first purchase have already given you a full opportunity to evaluate it.
- Duplicate or failed payments: refunded in full as soon as we spot them or you tell us, whichever is first.
- Multi-month purchases: if you paid for several months at once and ask within the first 7 days, we refund the whole amount. After that, unused months are not refundable.
When we will not refund
- A licence that has been used beyond the 7-day window.
- A change of mind about hardware, or a computer that does not meet the stated Windows requirement, where you did not use the trial.
- Anything where a licence key has been shared or used in breach of the Terms of Service.
How to ask
- Write to support@dacitos.com from the email address on the order, or call +91 98765 43210.
- Quote your order number — it looks like ORD-XXXX-XXXX and is on your order page.
- Tell us briefly what went wrong. We may ask a question or two, and often we can fix the problem instead.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank usually takes 5 to 7 working days to show it; we cannot make that part faster.
Your data after a refund
Refunding a licence deactivates it, but it does not touch the records on your computer. They stay on your machine and remain readable, exportable and backable-up. Export anything you need before the licence stops accepting new entries.
